Monkeys Picking Coconuts

The island of Samui used to be famous for their coconut trees. Although there are still many of them left, tourism has taken over as the main industry. But, in a few places on the island, you can still see trained monkeys climbing trees in order to pick coconuts. They twist these round and round until they snap off and drop to the ground. I am told that they can pick up to 400 coconuts in one day. Be careful, these monkeys can be vicious.
