Elvis impersonator, Manuel Toiyibee, performs at a bar in Bangkok, Thailand, Friday, Aug. 3, 2007. There's no need to check out of the Heartbreak Hotel. It turns out Elvis lives on in the City of Angels - otherwise known as Bangkok - even 30 years after the passing of the king of rock and roll. For over 10 years, Monday through Saturday, Manuel has zipped in to one of his fifteen 1970s Elvis costumes - all tailor-made - coiffed his thick sideburns and greased his pompadour hairstyle, slid on the iconic chunky gold sunglasses and hit the stage to a roaring crowd.
